The one where it all began. 3 years ago my niece needed a new dresser for her room that we were creating at her Nana's house just for her. We had been looking up different paints and had heard about Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®. We decided to give it a try and absolutely fell I. Love.
The first piece we did was pink and old white dresser.
We used pink for the first layer of paint. Once that was on in all the places we wanted it we added a couple of thin layers of old white. As soon as everything was dry we used sand painter to bring the pink forward on different parts of the dresser, and agin we let it sit over night. The next morning we used washclothes to clean the whole dresser from the sanding the piece down. Our final step was to wax the whole thing. You must wax at least times if not 3. And then your piece needs to cure for 30 days before using so that it doesn't scratch.
Let us know which of our projects you would like to hear about next.
Thanks,
See you all soon.
